Minecraft Checklympics: A Day of Digital Delight at Checkpoint Church
Games, Streams, and Builds: Crafting Lasting Memories Together
This past Saturday, October 21st, Checkpoint Church held our first Minecraft-centered event: Minecraft Checklympics. With several fun games, such as mini golf, boat racing, gladiatorial combat, and an obstacle course, the afternoon was filled with competition and fellowship.
Whether attendees were competing themselves, watching the games through a stream on Discord, or simply commentating and counting down races from over a player's shoulder, everyone had a blast and contributed in their own way to the festivities.
The best part is that all of the infrastructure created on our Minecraft server for the games is there to stay - that means that at any point, anyone can hop on and play a round of mini golf or have a race. All the hard work that went into creating these builds can continue to be enjoyed as long as the server exists!
To join the server, simply join our Discord and head over to the text channel titled #minecraft-server - in that channel is a pinned message for instructions on how to join. We hope to see you on Checkcraft sometime, and please let us know if you want to see more Minecraft events in the future!
